Decision made on £30m centre that will ‘transform’ district
A £30m distribution and manufacturing centre that will ‘benefit Ashfield for generations to come’ has been approved for land in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
The Automated Distribution and Manufacturing Centre (ADMC) will be created on land in Lowmoor Road as part of a wider £100m+ technology park.
The project is Ashfield District Council’s flagship project as part of the £62.6m Towns Fund Deal, with officials saying it will “cement the district as the heart of innovation and technology within the East Midlands”.
