A man has been jailed after a peacemaker died when he was punched during a fight in a pub garden.

Dilon Price, 30, was sentenced to five years and 11 months’ imprisonment after admitting manslaughter.

His victim, Harley Fox, 34, had tried to intervene in a disturbance at the Market Inn in Huthwaite on 8 June 2025.

Nottingham Crown Court heard that Price had started an argument shortly before 9pm, before assaulting a man he then followed into the pub’s beer garden.
